Microsoft AI-901 (Azure AI Fundamentals with Foundry) is a Fundamentals-level certification covering AI concepts and the implementation of AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry. The exam is split between (1) identifying AI concepts, model components, and workload types alongside responsible-AI principles, and (2) building generative-AI agents, text/speech, computer vision, and information-extraction solutions on the Microsoft Foundry platform. AI-901 replaces AI-900, which retires 2026-06-30.
